Innovation and “product” development are high risk activities where the return on investment is difficult to quantify. To reduce the technical, financial and psychological barriers, our services are delivered through a series of alternating creative and evaluation phases so that the risks can be clearly identified throughout the process

How do we work ?
To successfully transform concepts into commercial products, it is vital to be able to do all of the following:
- Generate and research multiple concepts in parallel.
- Identify the risks and focus on the difficult technical challenges.
- Alternate creative phases with productive phases.
- Be in close contact with the clients needs as the decision process evolves.
- Use a multi-disciplinary or cross-disciplinary technical approach.
- Research the best technical solution for a real problem.
- Constantly control the appropriateness of the solution against the stated requirements and specifications.
To meet these requirements, TELEMAQ uses a rigorous project management methodology which minimises costs and risks.
- TELEMAQ approaches each assignment in stages. Each stage has an associated budget, timeframe and set of deliverables (Work Breakdown Structure). At the end of each stage a Go / No Go decision is taken before the project proceeds to the following stage. This approach ensures that right from the beginning there is a strong collaborative link established between us and the client. The project team is involved in establishing the initial specifications and can work with the client to ensure that they are as close as possible to the market needs.
- Development is undertaken to achieve the projected target cost for the anticipated manufacturing volumes.
In order to be as close as possible to its clients, Télémaq uses widely compatible engineering tools and provides regular progress reports and feedback.
In advance of any in-depth technical discussion, a confidentiality agreement is signed between the parties.
The development contract governs issues such as ownership of industrial property - which depends on the type of work being carried out – Contract R&D, co-development with shared risk or technology transfer. Our services can be used to claim a research tax credit (“crédit impôt recherche”) in France if certain elegibility criteria are fulfilled..
